Course Description

Biology is the branch of science that primarily deals with the structure, function, growth, evolution, and distribution of organisms. In this course, students will learn about the living world, biological classification, plant kingdom, and animal kingdom. The students analyze morphology and anatomy of flowering plants, structural organization in animals, cells, bio-molecules. They acquire knowledge about mineral nutrition, photosynthesis, respiration in plants, plant growth and development, digestion and absorption, breathing and exchange of gases, body fluids and circulation, neural control and coordination, chemical coordination and integration.
